Could climate change have led to the fall of Rome? (January 22, 2011)
ESSC director Dr. Michael Mann recently appeared on NPR's All Things Considered to discuss a recent Science article. The article, written by a team of Swiss scientists, used tree-ring data to show that the end of the Roman Empire coincided with a period of changes in the climate system.
