Description of the files in this directory:

Fig1ab-instrumental.dat: Historical instrumental temperature data presented in
the  first figure (thin white line).  First column year, second column 
temperature anomaly in deg C.
Fig1a-modelprojections.dat: Energy balance model projections of equilibrium 
climate sensitivity.  First column year, second column temperature anomaly 
(deg C) for equilibrium climate sensitivity of 1.5, third column temperature 
anomaly (deg C) for equilibrium climate sensitivity of 2.0, fourth column 
temperature anomaly (deg C) for equilibrium climate sensitivity of 2.5, fifth
column temperature anomaly (deg C) for equilibrium climate sensitivity of 3.0,
sixth column temperature anomaly (def C) for equilibrium climate sensitivity of
4.5.  Corresponds to thick solid lines from light yellow (low sensitivity) to
red (high sensitivity) in the figure.
