Penn State E-Wall: Likely one of the first things you noticed upon stepping into the Penn State Weather Station was the extensive paper map wall spanning the room. Weather World host Fred Gadomski has created a virtual version of the map wall! Also containing current data, the most useful aspect of the Penn State E-Wall is the forecast model data, the products meteorologists use to forecast the weather. Available for forecast periods as little as 3 hours in advance to several days into the future, new forecast model data arrives (depending upon the model) up to four times daily!

Unisys Weather: Model Details: If you're wondering how to interpret some of the model data above and beyond the general surface plots, Unisys maintains an excellent primer to the forecast models. Covered in this brief tutorial is both short and longer term forecast model guidance.

Unisys Weather: Unisys Weather also maintains a significant amount of forecast model data; however, this site is not updated nearly as frequently as Penn State's E-wall. Unisys allows you to access much of the American forecast model guidance as well as a model run by a European weather organization.
