RUC Cross Sections
The following are cross-sections of atmospheric data derived from
RUC2 analyses centered on a station. They are generated every hour and use the most recent
RUC2 datafile. Each cross-section starts 400 km west of the station and ends 400 km east of the station. The solid black area represents the surface pressure in the cross-section.
Mixing Ratio and Potential Temperature
Note, mixing ratio is shown by the color fill, theta by the contour
lines, and the tropopause is indicated by the heavy black line.
